Small house. Circa mid C17 with C19 addition. Plastered rubble walls. Gable
ended slate roof. Large rubble stack at right gable end.
Plan: originally 2-room plan with heated room to the right. C19 rear outshut.
Plan may have been altered in C20,
Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular 2 window front of C20 2-light leaded pane casements
on first floor, taller casements below without leaded glazing. Central C20 glazed
door.
Interior: inaccessible at time of survey but likely to contain original features
such as open fireplace and ceiling beams,
The house preserves a traditional appearance and occupies a very prominent
position near the church.
