4/116 Barn 30m. to the south of Shute


Barn. Circa late C18 or early C19. Slate rubble walls. Hipped slate roof.
Rectangular plan with central threshing floor.
Exterior: single storey with loft. Central cart entrance on front wall with an
inserted window to either side and narrower door at left-hand end. Row of pigeon
holes below eaves. Left-hand end wall has a loft window below the eaves. Rear
elevation has narrow opposing doorway to threshing floor.
