Row of 3 cottages, formerly 4. C18 altered in C20. Rendered and plastered stone
rubble walls which may incorporate some cob. Thatched roofs to central and right-hand cottages with gable end, asbestos slate roof to left-hand cottage hipped at
end. This cottage has a brick stack on a rubble base at its left end, brick axial stack and one at right-hand end of row.
Plan: the left-hand and central cottages are of 2-room plan, Post Cottage to
right was formerly 2 cottages but now has 3 rooms.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2 : 2 : 3 window front. The left-hand and
central cottages have early to mid C20 2-light casements apart from a late C19 or
early C20 4-pane sash to right on ground floor of central cottage. Post Cottage
has an early C19 horizontal sliding sash to left on 1st floor with a C19 2-light
casement to its right and below. A former leanto porch to left on ground floor is now a bay window. 2 early C20 4-pane sashes to the right. Gabled brick porch to right of centre has a 4-panel door behind. The other 2 cottages have similar
circa early C20 porches with a C20 4-panel door to the left-hand one and C20 plank door to the central one.
