SX85NW Kitchen Garden Walls
6/5 East of Sharpham

GV II

Kitchen Garden Walls. Circa late C18 and early C19. Local stone rubble with
slate capping. Tall walls with pilaster buttresses at intervals enclosing
almost square plan garden on a slope. Taller wall on north side against which
is a C20 conservatory inside and a C19 linhay with rectangular piers
outside. The east side has a wide opening at the centre and on outbuilding
in the south east corner. The east side is the back wall of one of the stable
ranges (stable and coach house range (qv).
