DIPTFORD

SX75NW Butterwell and trough
4/215 approximately 30 metres SE
of Creber Farmhouse

GV II

Butterwell. Circa early to mid C19. Slate stone rubble. Built into a
field boundary bank through which a spring flows. The rectangular opening
has slate rubble jambs slate lintel roof with slate shelves. The slate
outflow spout below the door drains the dump into a large granite trough in
front.
