15/347 of Beenleigh

GV II

Barn later used as cider house. Circa C17. Slate rubble with other local
stone rubble. Thatched roof with gabled ends, roof level reduced slightly.
Wide cart entrance on north east front facing house (Beenleigh (qv)) with
timber lintel and flanking raking buttresses. Wide doorway to left with
timber lintel, partly block and window inserted. Smaller doorway at centre
of rear elevation opposite the cart entrance with a cambered timber lintel and
projecting slate rubble jambs. Row of pigeon holes below eaves to right.
Pigeon holes also in north west gable end which has a long ventilation slit
at centre and an owl hole at apex of gable. Loft door at south east end. C20
roof structure.
The barn adjoins the mill (qv) to the south east.
