SX75NE Fletcher's combe
House, formerly a farmhouse. Early C19. Slate rubble. Slate hung south west
front. Single span slate roof with gabled ends and bracketed eaves to front.
Projecting gable end stacks with set offs and tapered tops, left hand (north
west) stack is slate hung.
Plan: Double depth plan, with stairs at rear of central entrance
hall/passage and principal front room on either side and service rooms at
Exterior: Two storeys. Symmetrical 3-bay front. 16-pane sashes, ground
floor replaced by 2-light casements with top lights and with glazing bars, but
in original openings. Central doorway with C20 glazed door and C20 glazed
porch. Slate canopy over rear doorway to right of centre.
Interior: Dog-leg staircase at rear of hall-passage with moulded string,
column newel and stick balusters. Chimneypieces in principal rooms removed.
