Shippon with barn loft above and cart shed at south end. Circa early to mid
C19. Slate rubble. Slate roof with gabled ends.
Plan: Rectangular plan. Ground storey shippons and cart sheds at right hand
end with loft above.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Stone stairs at centre to loft doorway with segmental
red brick arch and slated canopy. Loft doorway to left also with red brick
arch. Ground storey shippon doorways with red brick arches and square
window. Two small ventilation slits below eaves. Cart shed to right with
unchamfered timber lintel. Wide loft doorway in right hand (south) gable
end for access to loft over cart shed. Another loft doorway near centre
at rear (east).
Interior not inspected.
Situated on east side of farmyard at Foales Leigh.
