C19. Part of same building as No 40 (qv). Stuccoed facade with eaves band and
parapet. Roof not visible. Forms entrance bay to rear and advanced beyond frontage
of No 40. 3 storeys. 1 round arched window m each truce. Sashes with moulded
architraves and late C19 glazing. Band above round arched carriage entrance to
rear.

Nos 38 to 56 (even) and No 40A form a group (of which Nos 42 to 46 (even) and
Nos 52 to 56 (even) are buildings of local interest.
