Early/mid C19. Stucco facade with cornice and wide, bracketed eaves. Modern
pantiled roof. Moulded string course connects 1st floor sills. 2 storeys
3 windows, 1 in lower recessed south-eastern part above carriage arch to rear,
arch has keystones and impost bands. Altered C19 shop front retains pilasters;
end consoles and vertical cast iron glazing bars with decorated spandrels.
Side shop door.

Nos 55, 55a, 55b, 57, 57a, 57b, 59, 61, 63, 63a, 65, 65a, and 67 form a group
with Nos 52 to 72 (even) and No 76 opposite of which No 67 and Nos 52 to 68 (even)
opposite are buildings of local interest.
