Early C19. Painted brick facade, slate roof 2 storeys. 2 windows, sashes with
glazing bars and boxed frames, those on ground floor, with cambered head linings.
Centre gabled porch with 6 panelled door. Red brick outbuilding attached to house
at west side and continues line of building along street frontage here.

Lava Cottnge. Nelson's Cottage. Sandhills, its lodge and the street boundary wall
and gate piers form a group, The lodge at Sandhills is of local interest.
