Late C19/early C20. Rendered wall with tiled coping links eastern one storey section of The Anchorage to the rest of the boundary wall.

The Anchorage and its boundary wall form a group with Scott's Cottage, its boundary wall and Gundimore (the modern house between is set back in trees and does not visually obtrude).
