C18. 6 ft high red brick and stone wall (part of coping missing). Interval and
end piers. Gate piers with panelled recesses and square caps. Part of wall at
north end rebuilt.

No 159 forms a group with the wall and piers at Burton Hall. Burton Hall, the
adjacent milestone and Burton Hall Lodge. No 159 and Burton Hall Lodge are of
local interest.
