C18. Red brick with tiled roof and brick stacks. 2 storeys. 5 windows, sashes with glazing bars and moulded boxed frames, those of ground floor with plain wooden shutters. Doorway has bracketed segmental hood and fluted side pilasters. 6 panel door, the top 2 now glazed.

Monks Revel and Gosfield Cottage form a group with Holmefield College and the listed cottages opposite (Holmefield College and Winkton Lodge Cottage are buildings of local interest).
