Asymmetrical Italianate stucco commercial building, circa 1860, on bend in road, three storeys and dormers. Entrance bay has doorway flanked by rusticated pilasters, rusticated quoins to two upper floors, pedimented 1st floor window. Canted bay on left to 1st and 2nd floors, with thin rusticated pilaster beyond. Straight front, three windows wide, to right. Blind casings to all windows.

House of Fraser, Gervis Hall (Hornes) and The Arcade (Nos 1 to 23A (consec)) and No 28 Old Christchurch Road form a group.
