Picturesque cottage, after 1870 (inscribed M T for Marianne Talbot). Sizeable
and symmetrical, 2 full storeys, red brick. Central 2 storey gabled porch, with
round arches to entrance and to side windows, upper floor overhanging on angle
set bricks. Mullioned casements, originally with diamond lattice glazing, (none
survives), 3 lights with transom on ground floor, 2 lights on 1st. Steeply pitched
roofs with ornamental scalloped tiles in bands alternating with ordinary tiles,
carried down low at rear as lean-to; overhanging eaves, plain bargeboards. Chimneybreasts
rise through east and west gables.

All the listed buildings in Wallisdown Road and Columbia Road form a group.
