C19 front to possibly C19 core. Block of 2 storeys and attic with painted
ashlar front. Slate gabled roof; 3 gabled dormers, 4 windows; left hand
1st floor window set lower. small modillion eaves cornice to 5 right hand
bays. Rusticated quoins; band; rusticated dressings to windows except
to 1st floor window at left hand end. On ground floor shop front possibly
late Cl9 or early C2O flanked by round-headed windows with moulded stone
voussoirs and keystones. 3 light window in bay at left hand end.

Nos 38 to 44 (even) form a group.
