Phylvic Lodge formerly shown as Cliff View. L-shaped red brick building of
C18 (post-1731) structure but with many alterations. Hipped roof. "Phylvic
Lodge" has rusticated quoins and keystones. 2 splayed C19 bays on ground floor;
Cl9 porch with pilasters, entablature and round-headed doorway; modern door.
The Garage has a large roundheaded window facing South and once housed the Assembly
Rooms. West side has modern window above and modern garage front below. Graded
II for sake of South elevation of former Assembly Rooms and of C18 portion of
Phylvic Lodge.
