8/108 Workhouse Chapel

G.V. II

Chapel, mid-Cl9. Squared, dressed rubble brought to courses, tiled roof with
gable ends, ashlar dressings. West gable faces road. 2 lancets with diagonal
leaded-lights under 2-centred heads. Round quatrefoil window above. Central
gabled porch with 2-centred arch and continuously chamfered jambs. Plank
double door in ashlar moulded surround with 2-centred head. Ashlar coping to
porch terminating in finial. Ashlar coping to main gable with bellcot.
