9/129 Gates and gate piers
to St Mary's Church
churchyard, leading
to Church Walk


Gates and gate piers, probably c 1825. Wrought iron with cast (possibly bronze)
finials. 4 sided open lattice piers with open entablature. Capped by open
spur finial terminating in a mitre. Subsidiary mitre finials to ironwork
beneath. Double gates of 3 rails. Curved upper rail. Uprights terminate
alternately at the top and middle rails and bear mitre finials.
