Cottage, possibly C17 with c 1800 facade. Whitewashed brick (Flemish bond),
tiled roof, brick stack just off centre. 2 storeys, 3 window range. 2-light
wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars only. Ground floor openings
under segmental arches. Doorway just to right of stack suggesting possible
cross-passage backing onto stack. Not fully inspected internally but there
appear to be chamfered ceiling beams. Said to be of one build with adjacent
cottages in Church Lane (No 16) q.v.
