G.V. II
House, probably 1618 rear wing with C 18 main range. Rear wing of coursed
rubble and cob, main range of brick (Flemish bond with flared headers).
Thatched roofs with gable ends and end brick stacks. Main range: 2 storeys,
5-window range. Symmetrical. 2-light wooden casements with glazing bars.
Central glazed porch. Plat band. C17 wing has some casements with leaded-
lights and is said to bear a date on a ceiling beam. "RCHM Dorset, vol III,
