Cottage, possibly C17 with C19 alterations. Rendered rubble; thatched,
gable-ended roof and rendered end stacks. 1½ storeys, 3 window range.
2-light casements with glazing bars, those on the upper floor being C20,
probably of coated aluminium. Ground floor openings under wooden lintels.
Central door under thatched porch. Wall plate visible. Tiled outshut to
rear. "RCHM, Dorset, vol III", p. 148, no 5.
