House, probably C17, refaced C18 and C20. Brick (Flemish bond with flared
headers right and stretcher bond left), some timber framing in right gable,
rear wing of rubble and brick and flint bands. Rubble extension left.
Thatched roof with hipped and half-hipped ends. Brick stacks to left gable
and right of front door. 2 storeys, irregular fenestration. Ground floor
left openings under segmental brick arches. 2 and 3-light casements with
horizontal glazing bars. "RCHM, Dorset, vol III", p 205, no 16.
