Farmhouse, C17 (though possibly with an earlier core) west range, C18
east range. West range of rubble, east of brick (Flemish bond with
flared headers), thatched roof, gable ended right and half-hipped left.
Brick stack to right and opposite front door. Lobby entrance plan. West
range of one and a half storeys, east range of 2 storeys; 7 window range
(total). Brick stacks to right and opposite entrance. C19 and C20 2 and
3-light casements with horizontal glazing bars. Ground floor right
openings under segmental brick arches, ground floor left openings under
wooden lintels. C19 hipped, tiled, 2 storey porch with round arch. Plank
door in heavy frame. "RCHM, Dorset, vol III", p 204, no 10.
