House, now Inn. C17 with additions and alterations of the C17, C18,
C19 and C20. Original range rubble with thatched roof, later ranges
ashlar and rubble with tiled roof. Various brick stacks. Part single
storey and attic, part 2-storey. Irregular fenestration. Mainly
Cl9 and C20 casements with glazing bars. C18 east extension has
sashes with glazing bars and a carriageway to inn yard. Plank door
under flat hood. Interior largely remodelled though a number of
original features such as chamfered beams and bressummers havebeen
retained, mainly reset.
