School dated 1850 and attached schoolhouse dated 1904. Coursed
squared rubble. Gabled, tiled roof with bands of scallopped tiles.
School range symmetrical. Single storey main range with 2 storey
cross wings. School has 5 window ranges. Central 4-centred
chamfered doorway in square surround with returned label. Original
door with vertical ribs. Flanking are 3-light stone mullioned windows,
each light having a 4-centred head. The crosswings have 2-light stone
mullioned windows above and below, all except the upper-floor left
having C20 casements with horizontal glazing bars. The upper-floor
left has the original diamond pattern leaded-lights. Cross wings
have moulded string course. The school house has 2-light stone
mullioned windows and a plank door.
