School and schoolhouse, school now village hall. Dated 1849. Coursed,
squared rubble with tiled, gable-ended roof. Stone copings and shaped
kneelers. 2 staged ashlar stack with moulded caps from west eaves of
schoolroom. Other irregularly placed brick stacks. House forms cross-
wing to schoolroom. Porch in re-entrant angle. School room single
storey, house 2 storeys. Schoolroom of 3 bays. Square-headed stone
mullioned window. Gable facing road has a 4-centred head stone window
with plain mullions. Porch doorway has moulded 4-centred head and
original ribbed door.
