War Memorial, c. 1920 and probably by Ponting. Stone. In the form of
a Dorset medieval market cross, (eg Stalbridge). 2 steps with square
base. Octagonal shaft with 4 applied, crocketted pinnacles. Crocketted
head with panels bearing carvings of the Crucifix, St George and the
Dragon etc.
