Row of four cottages, now three cottages. Probably mid C18. Rendered and white or colourwashed walls with gable-ended, thatched roof. Brick stacks at various intervals along the ridge. Two storeys, seven irregular window range. No. 56 has C19 sashes with vertical glazing bars. Plank door to left with small square window to extreme left. No. 54-55 has casements with horizontal glazing bars and a plank door near centre. No. 53 has two wrought-iron casements with leaded lights of three lights to the left and of two lights to the right. To the right of these is a plank door with a flat hood on reused carved consoles. To the right of the range is a two light casement. Above are three C19 six-pane sashes.
