GV II

Farmhouse, c 1600 with C19 alterations and south front. Coursed rubble with ashlar
south front. Tiled roof with brick stacks to gable ends and to left of door. L-plan.
Probably originated as a three room cross-passage plan with cross-passage backing
onto the stack. One and a half storeys, 4 irregular window range (to ground floor).
South front has 2-light casements with glazing-bars in chamfered stone surrounds
under relieving arches. Plank door second bay from left under C19 porch. Some
leaded-lights to the rear. Internally there is a 9-panel ceiling formed of inter-
secting, deep chamfered beams.
