ST 81 NW IWERNE COURTNEY OR SHROTON FARRINGTON

1/92 Farrington House

14-7-55 II

House, C17 with C18 north wing. Earlier parts in coursed rubble with ashlar
dressings, C18 part in brickwork. Thatched roof with end brick stacks. North
wing faces road. 2-light, square headed, stone mullioned windows with moulded
labels. South front C18 part has casements with leaded-lights. North wal
has blocked door with 4 centred head and chamfered jambs. Internal features
(RCHM); exposed, stop chamfered ceiling beams (RCHM, Dorset, vol III, p 129, No
13)
