ST 80 NE STOURPAINE HAVELINS STREET (South Side)

6/168 Hod Cottage. (formerly listed
14-7-55 as No. 41 and 43 Havelins Road.)

G.V. II

Cottage, C17 or earlier. Brick, rendered and timberframing, whitewashed.
Thatched roof with central brick stack. Single-storey with attics, irregular
fenestration. Wrought-iron casements with leaded-lights. Gable has canted
oriel window supported on scrolled brackets and has ovolo-moulded mullions
and leaded-lights. (RCHM, Dorset, vol. III, p. 261, no. 5.)
