ST 80 NE STOURPAINE MANOR ROAD (East Side)

6/169 Stourpaine House

14-7-55 II

House, C18 origin, largely remodelled early C19. Rendered and whitewashed
walls with shallow pitched slate roof. Rendered stacks to end of ridge left
and to right gable. 2 storeys, 5 window range. 12-pane sashes, those on
the lower floor reaching ground level. Part-glazed door in right gable with
fanlight and fluted architrave. Internally there is a curved stair with a
cut string, plain uprights and a moulded mahogany handrail. (RCHM, Dorset,
