ST 80 NW FOLLY FARM

5/2 Stable block at
Folly Barn with
stock-yard walls

Stable and cart-shed. Probably early C19. Brick and flint banding, plain
tile roof. Small half-hipped block with lower, attached 2-bay open fronted
shed. Stable has central door flanked by one small and one larger casement,
all to segmental heads; outer gable has large door to square head under
loading opening. This small unit relates to Folly Barn (q.v.) with which it
is linked by low flint and brick walls with rounded brick coping. Formerly
part of Portman Estate, now Crown Property.
