Detached house. C17 origin, enlarged to west, probably in C18 and early C19.
Walls - left section of flint and brick banding, centre section of brick, right
section of rubble stone. Artificial stone slate roof. One brick stack at left
end and one near centre. 2 storeys. Ledged door, and stable door near right
end. Ground and first floors each have 4 casements with glazing bars. Lean-to
garage extension at left end, of brick, with tiled roof. One ground floor room
has large open fireplace with timber lintel. Some exposed ceiling beams. RCHM
