GV II

Detached cottage. C18, enlarged in C20. Plastered cob walls on flint base,
hipped thatched roof; brick stack at left end. One storey and attic. C20
single-storey flat-roofed extensions at right end, and at rear. C20 conservatory
at left end. Part-glazed door in C20 porch with tiled lean-to roof. Ground
floor has 3 casements with ornamental cast iron glazing. Attic has 3 dormers
with similar casements. RCHM Monument 8 (Dorset. Vol.III)
