GV II

Pair of attached cottages, Forge cottage C17 and Hillside C18. Forge cottage
of rendered cob and Hillside of brick. Thatched roofs with brick stacks to
various locations. Part 1½ storeys and part 2 storeys. Forge cottage has
mainly wrought iron casements with leaded-lights. Hillside has C20 casements
with glazing bars. Forge cottage has part-glazed door and Hillside has glazed
door. To the west is a further range in derelict condition. (RCHM, Dorset,
