Farmhouse, C16 origin, considerably modified C18, C19 and C20. Rubble,flint
and brick with hipped, thatched roof. Brick stacks right and centre. One and
a half storeys, 3 irregular window range. 2-light casements with glazing bars.
Plank doors near centre and to right of range. Weatherboarded extension right.

Internal features (RCHM): south-east room has 4 stop-chamfered beams resting
on a central post and a fireplace with chamfered stone jambs and an elm
bressumer; north-west room has similar fireplace and 2 stop chamfered beams;
the north-east wall retains part of a cruck-truss. (RCHM, Dorset, vol.IV,
