Detached farmhouse, possibly C17 origin, largely rebuilt early C19. Part
rubble and flint, part brick. Slate roof with end brick stacks. 2 parallel
ranges. Upper floor has 2 double 12-pane sashes flanking a single similar
window. Ground floor has canted bay windows flanking a central panelled door
with fanlight. Flat porch on columns. (RCHM, Dorset, vol.IV, p.105, no.5.)
