The Old Rectory

Rectory, now private dwelling. C18 origin but much enlarged and extended early
C19. Part rendered, part banded rubble and brick. Slate roofs with end
rendered stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys, 3 bay main facade. Central bay defined
by pilasters and pedimented. Upper floor had 2-light casements with glazing
bars, ground floor has sashes with glazing bars. Central French doors.

Internal features (RCHM): stairs with plain balustrade and mahogany handrail;
reset C16 stone, 2-light windows. (RCHM, Dorset, vol.IV, p.44, no.7.)
