Formerly described as premises occupied by Edridge, Pope and Co.
Much restored house in C18 style. Colourwashed brick front. Slate eaves
cornice. Centre breaks forward. Sash windows (new sashes with altered
glazing bars) have keystones and aprons. Ground floor has modern Georgian
shop-front with fluted Tuscan pilasters and entablature.

Nos 2 to 30 (even) and Nos 34 to 50 (even) form a group.
