Formerly shown as premises occupied by Henry George. C18 2 storey 3 window
red brick front. Moulded fascia at eaves. Plaintile roof. 3 C18 sash
windows in wide flush frames to 1st floor. On right hand side below is
C19 shop front. On left hand is late C18 doorcase with dentil cornice
on brackets, the latter decorated with fluting and formerly with medallions.

Nos 54 and 56, Gate, lamp and overthrow between Nos 54 and 56, The Methodist
Church and Nos 58 to 82 (even) form a group.
