Long 2 storey front, mainly stone. At extreme left hand end is entrance
door with frontage set back. This has C18 hood with dentil cornice and
brackets in poor repair. Rectangular fanlight with diagonal glazing bars.
Slate roof. Adjoining this is 2s, segmental bow with flat roof. Iron
balustrade, stone piers and finials to parapet. On right hand is lower
stone front of cottage type with thatched roof (No 3). Wood casements
with small panes; windows of 3-light except for ground floor which has
4-light window at left hand end. Modern 6-flush panelled door in frame
in 2nd bay from left hand end.

The listed buildings on the North Side of The Green (with The Cottage adjoining
The Green) form a group.
