The Do-it-Yourself Centre adjoins Twyford; formerly shown as Clarke's Cycle
Works. Long 2 storey, 5 window ashlar front, late C18 to early to mid
C19. Wide eaves. Sash windows with glazing bars on first floor, ground
floor windows enlarged by half a pane at either end. Central doorway (to
Wessex Club) has stone Tuscan pilasters and entablature. Wrought iron
bracket over, formerly to sign. On ground floor, one sash window has been
replaced by a door to The Do-it-Yourself Centre.

Digby Estate Nos 251 to 255 (consec), Twyford, The Sherborne Do-it-Yourself
Centre and Wessex Club, Digby Estate No 247, Sherborne Gallery, Westbury
Studio, Dolphin House, Estcourt and Brookfield form a group.
