C19. Portland stone. 4 centred arch with keystone. Parapet with moulded stone
cornice, inscribed "Pale Ale Brewery" in sans-cerif.
Nos 35 to 43 (consec), and Nos 39A and 39B, and Arch between Nos 40 and 41 and British
Legion Headquarters form a group.
