1910. Rendered. Hipped slate roof. Brick stacks. 2 storeys. Right hand

quoins. Windows have continuous moulded sills, and there is a continuous stringcourse
at impost level of ground floor. Ground floor windows have rusticated surrounds
and aprons. 1st floor windows have scrolled architraves and idiosyncratic dentilled
cornices which break upwards in a very slight segmental curve to triple keystones.
3 blank cartouches between stringcourse and 1st floor sill level.
Left hand part is set back in concave chanelled recess. 2 slightly tapering
pilasters with festoons at top flank a shaped gable with coping and all finial.
Ground floor has double doors flanked by Ionic 3/4 columns taking plain frieze
and cornice, all set within segmental arch with dentils, moulded extrados
with scrolls and festoon below and triple keystone above: enriched spandrels. 1st
floor has 4-light window on sill which runs from one buttress across to the
other, and divided by 3 Ionic columns (with Tuscan responds) taking disproportionately
huge entablature, with "Girls' School" on the frieze. Gable has cartouche
with "1850-1910".
