ST 30 SW THORNCOMBE HOLDITCH
1/65 Wheatsheaf Cottage
GV II
Cottage, detached, C18. Rubble walls with stone quoins. Thatch roof. One
brick stack at each end. 1½ storeys. Four window-range with dormers.
C20 wooden casements with glazing-bars. Wooden lintels and cills. Plank
door to 1970 stone porch with half-hipped thatch roof. Main roof: half-
hipped. Interior: 2 fireplaces with brick jambs and chamfered wooden
lintels. One bread overn with brick interior. Possibly jointed cruck
construction with collar-beams.
