3/117 Forde Grange, The Stables
20 metres North of the Barn
GV II
Detached stables with loft. C18. Rubble walls with big stone quoins and slate
roof. Two storeys. Three windows. Doorway with wooden lintel over. Loft
door, plank, immediately over. Interior, Heavy section beams with shallow
chamfers and run-out stops. Remains of brick floor. Single stable attached
on North. Rubble with brick quoins under a lean-to slate roof, C19. Included
for Group Value.
