7/1 Bilshay farmhouse

II

Farmhouse, c 1800. Red brick walls in raking Flemish bond on a stone
plinth. Thatch roof, hipped at left hand, gabled at right hand with a
stone coping. Brick stacks at centre (ridge) and at right hand gable.
L-plan, with former dairy at rear. 2 storeys. c 4 windows, wooden and
cast iron casements of 2 and 3 lights. Segmental brick arch-heads.
C20 front door at centre, wooden with small porch and pentice slate roof
over. Rear wing of the house is late C19.
